If the intensity of the reflected light exceeds the set threshold value, the high-performance light button triggers a switching process. The EFS series light switches are widely used in the metal industry and in a wide variety of industries FSP60 in turn are used primarily in the paper industry. They offer special options for monitoring the contamination of the sensor optics using an alarm signal, intensity display or analog intensity signal.

In light scanner applications, it is always important to pay attention to whether objects can be detected against a background, as this also reflects light onto the sensor.
