Sensors for speed, length and distance measurement
Optical measurement technology offers enormous possibilities for industrial process control, which is why we have had sensors from Astech for measuring web speeds and lengths or large distances in our range for many years to round off our range.
We offer you the following sensors for industrial process control:
- sensors of the VLM series for speed and/or length measurement
- sensors of the LDM series for distance measurement over long distances
Determine speeds and/or lengths with high accuracy!
The speed sensors of the VLM series work without contact and, thanks to modern LED lighting technology, do not require any laser protection measures during operation!
The VLM speed sensors can be used over a wide speed and dynamic range and are suitable for practically all surfaces and materials!
In addition to measuring speed, the sensors can also determine the processed length of webs, tapes, wires, etc. A variety of interfaces enable integration into a wide variety of process controls.
Thanks to various optional protective equipment, the sensors can also be used in environments with high temperatures or pollution. As a mobile set with a tripod, it can be used in many positions in a production process, e.g. B. for process analysis or to check otherwise determined speed data.
Measure distances precisely, even over long distances
LDM series Determine distances even over long distances of up to 100 m with millimeter precision:
- LDM 42 for distances up to 30 m without reflector (100 m with reflector)
