Where conventional sensors are no longer sufficient, a photo sensor from Sensorik Austria is used, which is characterized by maximum performance and robustness. This is the case, for example, when detection distances of several meters are required or a light barrier sensor has to be set up over larger distances. Our products are also the first choice when high resistance to contamination is important.

CR COLOR SENSOR AND OTHER EXCEPTIONAL SOLUTIONS
Sensorik Austria's product portfolio includes not only classic sensors for object detection (“proximity switches”), but also other solutions for demanding sensory tasks.
An innovative color sensor in our CR series, for example, has color processing that comes close to what the human eye perceives. This allows even the slightest color nuances to be distinguished. These color sensors are available with fiber optics or as compact devices and are used in process monitoring and quality assurance.
Our optical speed sensor VLM enables the precise measurement of the length and/or speed of webs, belts, ropes and even wires - non-contact and therefore wear-free. The speed sensor works on virtually any surface and does not require any laser protection measures.
NIR SENSOR: INNOVATIVE ALTERNATIVE TO SPECTROMETERS
The new NIR sensor tri2dent™ (pronounced “tri-eident”) offers a completely new concept: This multi-wavelength sensor works according to the NIR spectrometer principle outside of the conventionally used light spectral ranges and reacts to the specific chemical properties of the measurement objects.
For example, the sensor can be used as a material sensor to differentiate between materials or to monitor the concentration of ingredients. It is also used as a moisture sensor to measure the moisture of transparent or semi-transparent materials. The tri2dent™ sensor platform can be flexibly adapted to the requirements of the respective customer.
