The sensor system consists of 2 parallel fiber-optic light barriers that are placed on a common arm over the web: If the outer sensor detects the web or the inner sensor no longer recognizes the web, countermeasures must be taken in each case.

The fiber optics can be used in the actual light barrier or in triangulation to block out disturbing background.

Either a type from the EFS 2000 series or the FSP60 series can be selected as the sensor.
