ROBUST AND PRECISE
The sensors in the LDM series are opto-electronic Distance sensors for industrial applications. The LDM sensor works without contact according to the principle of phase comparison measurement (amplitude modulation) and enables precise measurement of distances.
The sensors are characterized by high accuracy even over long distances (up to 500 m!) and great independence from the surface of the measurement object. The red, clearly visible laser beam allows easy alignment.
The LDM-Sensor can also be used on red-hot parts and, due to its long range, can detect positions, distances, etc. from a safe distance even in harsh environmental conditions.
Different interfaces are available for connection to the process control: analog output, Profibus, Profinet. For devices with a fieldbus, it is possible to easily read the data from several devices into the controller.
