DIFFERENTIAL COLOR CAPTURE
In dual-channel mode, the sensor can be operated like two simple sensors that work with the same gain and illumination intensity.
With stabilization function activated (CROM LOAD BAR®) The sensor can be used as a single-channel sensor with an external stabilization target. The symmetrical structure of the sensor achieves a very high level of drift stability against aging and temperature influences.
For use in color difference mode, the agreement and synchronization between both measurement channels are crucial. This is what the matching method stands for CROMLABALANCE® available, which enables simple and effective channel matching across the entire color space for the customer.
When learning a “zero difference” between both color channels, e.g. B. Test parts can be checked for color uniformity, even if the absolute color is not fixed. A zero difference can also be used to perform edge detection. The color difference mode also has advantages when transparent objects need to be recognized against changing backgrounds (e.g. transparent stickers in the packaging industry), or often in the form of height or structural fluctuations of the object.
CR 200 is also available with Profibus, Profinet or Ethernet interface.
