SLAM MONITORING WITH FIBER OPTICAL SENSORS
High-performance light barriers with special glass fiber optics offer an excellent opportunity to detect objects such as slabs or similar. reliably detect in the high temperature range:
The sensor is mounted outside the temperature range and the light signal is directed to the detection point using fiber optics. The fiber optic can be configured with asymmetrical arms, the longer arm is guided under the system to the opposite side of the slab. The fiber optic optics can withstand temperatures up to 300°C.
